HÜZÜN

Merve Sagit

9 – 19 April 2026

The story

Hüzün is a Turkish word for grief, melancholy, and quiet loss — sorrow that is slow, enduring, woven into everyday life. Using cyanotype blueprints and lumen prints, the works hold fragile traces of absence shaped by light, time, and chance. Dedicated to the memory of the artist's late brother, Sefa.

Work

Recent shows

Tøn exists for art that stays open — work that questions more than it concludes. We look for contemporary artists who are honest about the search, not just the result. We're always open to those we haven't met yet.

Keep in view

Be the first to know about new exhibitions, openings, and works as they arrive.

We write only when there's something worth seeing.
