
Eric Iocco
Eric Iocco was born in Spain in 1995 and currently resides in Barcelona. He is a visual artist, his practice is mainly pictorial, but he expands to other techniques such as sound or installation. Currently, his work shows a great interest in musical culture and its intimate relationship with society. His artistic practice reflects on the artistic process, mental health, classism in artistic practices or overproduction. He has held individual exhibitions such as Cenizas, at the H2o Gallery, curated by Joaquim Ruiz Millet (Barcelona, 2021) or All Goods, come to end (Aula46 Gallery, Barcelona, 2022). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in different Galleries such as Academia Belles Arts de Sabadell (Emerging Art Exhibition), Hiamney Gallery, Mutuo Gallery, La Palmera Studio, Aula46 Gallery and Senda Gallery. She has been selected for different awards such as the VI Mostra d’art Emergent Sabadell scholarship (Academy of Fine Arts Sabadell) or the D’AART painting award from the Community of Madrid. He completed a Master's Degree in Artistic Creation and Production at the University of Barcelona.
