Jared C. Deery (b. 1980, Philadelphia; lives and works in Brooklyn, NY) has exhibited extensively and his work is held in private collections both in the United States and internationally. He moved to New York in 1997, receiving his BFA with honors from Pratt Institute in 2001 and his MFA from Hunter College in 2009. Deery has participated in notable international design forums, including the Salone del Mobile in Italy and the Saint-Etienne Design Biennale in France. His most recent solo exhibition was held at Freight + Volume Gallery in New York City in 2024. In addition to his studio practice, Deery is the co-founder of Tappeto Volante Gallery.
